Constitutional Law

Constitutional law governs the resolution of legal disputes relating to the interpretation, application, and enforcement of the Constitution of India.

Constitutional law litigation encompasses a vast range of issues, including those related to constitutional amendments, separation of powers, federalism, the powers and functions of various constitutional bodies, and challenging the validity of any act or rule.
It also encompasses all issues related to fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution, such as voting and elections, police misconduct, discrimination, and religious freedom.

Through litigation, citizens can seek redress for violations of their fundamental rights, challenge unconstitutional laws or government actions, and hold authorities accountable. Public Interest Litigation is a notable feature, allowing individuals to bring issues affecting the public directly to the courts.
